I know its the cool thing right now to hate on Intel and fan boy AMD like they are the greatest of all time. i'll just say, MEH, i'm not really that impressed by either. Ill wait it out another year, and when Intel comes out with 10th gen ill compare what both companies have to offer then, and hopefully both will be using DDR5 by then.

    x4 NVMe PCIe
    x1 Sound card

At this point, I have lanes to spare. I have four x16 slots, which are full with the bigger things above, and three x1 slots. One has a sound card in, the other two are obscured by the GFX coolers.

I'd like to jam another PCIe SSD in there, but I simply don't have the room, I'd have to chuck the 10G network card at that point.

The x1 slots are done over the PCH DMI interface along with SATA ports etc. My M.2 slot is fairly useless running at x2 link speed.

I see my next computer using more PCIe storage, not less. And it's always nice to have a bit of capacity for upgrades. My x58 board used a slot up for USB 3.0 support. This board doesn't do 3.1, if I needed that, that'd use up some lanes.

Looks like Videocardz updated the previous roadmap they leaked.

So like with CFL it looks like this launch has been brought forward.
