How does it handle text input for games such as "The Hobbit" and "Mad Martha"?

The Register published a review of this handheld today. They got a load from a reader who wishes to remain anonymous.
Device sounds pretty grim to use, sadly.
I own a Bluetooth clamping SNES-style joypad for my smartphone for portable retro gaming. Probably much better than this.

Yep, watched a few video reviews and the things crash a lot, too. Terrible.

You got the 8bitdo SNES controller with the sticks? They are excellent.

I've just got a cheap and cheerful iPega branded controller. But it looks better than this £100 concole. And my phone has a 5,000mAh battery too for lots of screen on time.
