Half the L1 cache of the other APUs if you look at the AMD website listings. Not sure if it is a typo or not.
BATTERY life of SMACH Z? ....run to the wall socket and wait.
It is interesting if true, perhaps disabling some of the cache allowed them to clock the part faster at lowered voltages.
I also note that the ram is specified as up to 3200MHz compared with the 2400G only allowing 2933, and the graphics on this part are clocked a bit higher too (1300MHz vs 1250MHz).
so now the long wait for oems to finally put out decent AMD laptops... again.
But then again with the shortage of Intel chips... and throttling issues with newer intel chips in thin and light laptops... you never know. OEMs might be forced to do it right.
HP is already recommending to get Epyc servers ready as intel cannot ship enough Xeons.
My 2013 Razer Blade 14" had an i7-4702HQ (37W) and GTX765M (65-75W)... there's no reason why an OEM couldn't stick a 2800H in a similar chassis and get 6+ hrs battery life during regular use (browsing/office).
These Ryzens are just too damn good; someone needs to make it happen!
