As far as anyone knows Sega Japan stated, concerning Shenmue request in the vote, that Sega Europe took care of the remasters, and they're going to converse with them when they visit one week from now. That is what's up Sega. Could it be any more obvious? Little persistence and everything comes to Switch in the long run.
