I'm still surprised that people regard a 'phone as a 'fashion accessory'. I just regard one as a tool to do a job.

Give me a compelling reason to replace my Oneplus 3T.

It's fast, Dual SIM, it has a decent screen, has all the features I need and the battery life is excellent.

I am with you there. I have a slightly older, but very similar Oneplus 3. I was thinking I would need to replace it soon because it is going out of support, but I recently started running LineageOS on it, and it has a new lease of life.

I have recently brought a Nokia 6.1 for my eleven year old. It was only £150 but is as good as my Oneplus 3 in almost every respect. (The main downside is that you can't unlock the bootloader or root it).

As for spending over a grand on a premium phone? Not even if I won the lottery. Waste of money and no better than phones at half the price.

indifferent is definitely the word to describe their pricing strategy besides the fact they ramped it up even more
