Wowsers - expensive but my phone connection is currently better than my home internet connection. This could actually be a sign of things to come.

Or you can tell EE to get stuffed, buy a decent data plan and with a one off fee buy a TP Link 4G router with speeds up to 150mbps:

Re: EE launches 4G Mobile Broadband with 500GB allowance

MadduckUK, an old member of these forums, had been using his phone connection on Three for about 2 years with only a two hour period in that two years where the network went down. He would often beat my pings on games, despite me being on a Virgin Media Vivid 350 connection. He'd get around 40Mbps down and 25-30Mbps up, which is pretty decent.

If things carry on this way, I can definitely see the days of physical wires to the house being a thing of the past. Soon.

Re: EE launches 4G Mobile Broadband with 500GB allowance

At my parents my phone gets better and more consistent speeds than the broadband, which is crazy when you think about it and the fact its an almost brand new house. Shame that this is so expensive monthly. Hopefully others will get involved in similar offers and prices drop.

Until your neighbor gets one and starts to download a game/movie. I bet you won't even be able to stream netflix anymore (at 4k)

Re: EE launches 4G Mobile Broadband with 500GB allowance

I pay £20/month for 40gb on 3 and that came with a free router. The price EE is charging is pretty steep but no other company, that i am aware of, offers a mobile 4g package with over 50gb of data per month.
