Ah, the old "up to" spec and "from" price.

    Thought this sounded very cheap.

Got me interested for about 8 seconds there.

Lost me at “savagely stylish”. That's just marketing speak for an RGB disco ball.

Wouldn't take much to topple that over. An energetic tug on a connected cable or a quick hip-bash and it's goodnight from him.

Really? That's the best you've got?
Extreme aversion to using an Off switch?

I've an extreme aversion to the extra cost being paid out. It won't be just teh parts but the R&D and so on. Give me a plain system any day. Mine has a window and RGB stuff in it but only becuase that was the only option. That side faces the wall.

If however they turned the PC into a disco ball that was fully functional and danging from the ceiling reflecting pretty multicoloured skulls everywhere, then I might be interested.

I think they had a workstation version of the old one. Unfortunately, "Workstation" these days just means the gaming machine with a Quadro and another price hike.

Correction: They didnt; I was thinking of the GS laptops having a workstation model. Either way, my second sentence stands.

It looks like it's time to add a button to the standard case to disable the rgb backlight
