Regarding AMD,CPU sales are up too,its the GPU sales which have gone down the drain due to the crypto crash. So apparently more people are buying CPUs,and remember the Intel price increases are more recent,so might have not really have affected most of the financial quarter Intel have reported. If you want to see if CPU shortages have an effect we need to look at Q4.

Good for Intel, I am a fan of the industry. That said, what will happen when they no longer supply chips to apple? (in 2020)

Corporate purchases probably, big corporations still trust Intel more.
