I use uBlock and have never seen a single ad.

Well if you wanted to drive more users to Adblockers, this is the right way to do it...
Re: YouTube doubles up on pre-roll ads - makes for fewer ad breaks
It is already happening, and it's really infuriating to be forced to see 2 adds in a row that you cannot skip. Especially when you are jumping from video to video and it happens on every single one.
Re: YouTube doubles up on pre-roll ads - makes for fewer ad breaks
Glad I got YouTube premium, I have adblock, but also want to support those I watch regularly.
Re: YouTube doubles up on pre-roll ads - makes for fewer ad breaks
So many sources now for ad-supported movies. Crackle, PlutoTV, Roku Channel, whatever Walmart calls their thing (Vudu?), etc. Wish there was a meta curation service, especially one that also pulls in Netflix and Amazon Prime, etc. (Roku's got a search feature that applies across most channels, but it doesn't make suggestions and I don't think it lists Youtube movies.)
edit: I forgot Tubi TV.
Re: YouTube doubles up on pre-roll ads - makes for fewer ad breaks
Just what every viewer on youtube wants...more adverts, made even worse by the fact you can't skip it.
And website owners and advertisers wonder why there is such a huge increase in the number of users who are using adblockers... it's because you keep sticking more and more adverts in to compensate for lost revenue 'from adblockers' (it's the usual excuse) which then makes adblockers even more important so we can actually find the stuff we're after on your website...

uBlock works a treat on desktop, stops twitch ads too.
Re: YouTube doubles up on pre-roll ads - makes for fewer ad breaks
Youtube has now come full circle with old media

too expensive imo
Sky + tv licence + netflix + youtube premium + broadband. We are talking well over a £100/month
and still often nothing of good quality to watch

I'm glad some people are happy to not use an adblocker, feels like my viewing without adverts is sponsored by them :D
