BAFTA Interactive Awards... the Winners!

The BAFTA awards, something like the Oscars except for games has some winners, with no real surpises in the winners.

A quick rundown of the main categories:


Best Overall Game : Half Life 2

Best PC Game : Half Life 2

Best PS2 Game : Burnout 3:Takedown

Best XBox Game : Halo 2

Best Gamecube Game : Prince of Persia:Warrior Within


So nothing controversial there. which leads me to wonder if this will just reinforce the big publishers beliefs that franchises are a safer bet that new games.

halo 2 is an awesome game it has to be said and deserved to win

I think "The Chronicals Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay" has better graphics than Half Life 2, but it wasn't even nominated in the animation category.
