From the blog post it sounds like the Port Royal benchmark runs at 2560 × 1440 pixels by default.
Waits for the incoming wailing and nashing of teeth by early adopters....

So, next year all those RTX early adopters will, at last, have access to something that actually benefits from the RTX architecture.

Looks very different to what I expected from summat called Port Royal.
I thought it'd be Tall Ships and loads of water effects...

This looks more like Star Citizen, which is amusing given how SC itself is still so far away from release!!

I guess you've not heard of the Battlefield V release then?

My issue with this is, it's gonna be pretty pointless for a good year or two yet.
The 2070 is worse than the 2080 which is worse than the 2080Ti, which the benchmark will illustrate.

I can tell you that, for free, right now.

I cant believe people are actually porting over to ray tracing? the RTX serries is just too expensive to ever be mainstream.
