That's gonna be fun for average Joe trying to figure out which 2060 is the best price/performance.

I suppose they have to replace all the 1060s

Complete marketing failure and, frankly, is misrepresentative of the actual product.

If someone says they have a 2060 it could have a plot anywhere on a performance curve.

But the more i think about it the more i realise it's like cars, you can have a ford focus in diesel/petrol and in different engine sizes but it's still a focus regardless of the performance.

In the gpu arena however, this is ridiculous. Tthey could have called them 2065, 2065x and 2066 for the gddr5/x and gddr6 models xD

It is already hard to pick a card with all the brands, now it gets even more messier.

Re: Gigabyte preparing 40 GeForce RTX 2060 SKUs, according to leak

This just seems really underhanded to me, this looks like a real attempt just confuse the 'normal' consumer where they are seen X review that says RTX2060 Is great and better than X (insert AMD equivalent card) so the person will buy that or they have just been told by someone its the better card, then when they come to buy it they will just buy the cheapest 2060 not realising it is a totally different performance category!

Was bad enough when they had a 3GB 1060 alongside the normal version.... AMD really need to start delivering stronger competition and people need to start voting with their wallets to stop this kind of behaviour in the market.

Just drop 3GB, guys, come on. 4G is minimum gaming of any measure these days, especially since even budget monitors and laptops are getting 1440p screens now.

Surprising to still see a 3GB version, hopefully the price should reflect that.
