The blind tests vid linked to above makes interesting watching.

Can't say that I'll be rushing out anytime soon to upgrade my 1080ti.
    Live long and prosper.

I think that's most people. I mean rtx stuff just seems like more game works fluff rather than anything that adds to gaming.

They keep getting better and better. Soon it'll be full life rendering and we won't ever have to leave the house.

Re: Nvidia highlights RTX effects in the Atomic Heart demo

It's good there now is an nVidia tech demo for RTX effects. Otherwise people might start to question why they bought into nVidia's new RTX range at all.

RTX: cool tech, but can live without considering the cost at the moment.

Re: Nvidia highlights RTX effects in the Atomic Heart demo

If the cards where half the price they are now I would think about getting one (think isn't the same as defiantly buying one).
At the moment Nvidia isn't doing any gamers any favors, not one gamer I know wanted ray tracing, they just wanted a faster more powerful card.

You're all idiots. All of you. Games should now be made with tanks entirely constructed of mirrors blowing up greenhouses with lasers in arenas lit by disco balls.

This is the only way forward now we have this game changing technology which will allow you to play Farming Simulator in ways never before envisioned or reflected.

Re: Nvidia highlights RTX effects in the Atomic Heart demo

Impressive. I'll buy an RTX card when they're under £300, and possibly have SLI, depending on how good they are.

Given lack luster performance elsewhere in the market, I think I'll just stick with what I got.
