Hmm so the Premium Individually Sleeved PSU Cables Pro Kit Type 4 Gen 4 cost as much as a PSU itself and rather confusing info on which Corsair PSU's they'll fit.

    Looks nice but no thanks.

Re: Corsair announces wide range of premium PC accessories

It really is confusing. I have the RM850, which is listed on their chart as being Type 4 for 8-pin EPS12V and PCIe connectors, but Type 3 for the 24-pin ATX

Does that mean I would be able to use the new cables for my PCIe cards but not for the motherboard?

They do look really good, but wow are they expensive. The SFX Platinum PSUs do thankfully come with some nice sleeved cables included

I'm working with a mate to bring in pulsating plasma conductor cables which will work from a matter/antimatter reactor instead of a PSU.

Should work out about the same price.

The sticking point is the size of the converters at the end of each cable to turn 18GW of pulsating plasma designed to go through a regulator / injector assembly and on into the warp field generator and runs at 69 million Kelvin into 12V DC. We have found that the Vega64 runs just about fine on the raw 18GW pure plasma supply, however. In fact, it runs a little cooler.

Long as it actually looks (and sounds) like a Starfleet issue warp core, I'll probably buy it....
How long a warranty are you offering?
