I cant but wonder if the up coming new flagship phones that will have the snap dragon 855 chips will be using eUFS 2.1 ? I cant find info on that one way or another on the web, does anyone know for certain?
I dunno, 1TB seems a bit excessive for a smartphone to me.
OTOH, 1TB storage for a cellular PC, which iirc are all meant to be based on snapdragon chips....
They're pushing the phone as a portable PC thing with external monitor and HIDs so if the SoC can provide the chooch, this kind of thing might be useful.
With the ammount of selfies some people are taking, i dont think 1 TB is gonna be enough for a full day.
Does seem odd with the amount of cloud saving and streaming going on that they want to jump to 1TB of local storage.
As my data allowances have gone up, the amount of data stored on my device has dropped, although I am sure that's not the case with everyone, it does seem to be the way things are going.
