Too little too late? Unless it is free to play, I don't think many will care.
We already have a mature PUBG, why would you play this instead? Cool graphics?

It's free if you have BFV.

Pubg is still far from polished imho and has massive issues with cheaters etc. It took a while for the battlefields devs to make this which probably means it won't have the issues that pubg has.

Shame BF is generally inundated with cheaters too.

Cheaters are on every FPS (First Person Shooter) game since ever...

Have you tried it recently? PUBG is the most polished "realistic type" BR game available (i.e. not cartooney like fortnite/apex etc), and cheaters are not a general issue on teh EU servers...much more prevelant on the US/APAC ones, but after 550 hours of playing I can count the actual number of times i've encoutered a cheater on one hand. The nature of BR games means people feel the pain of "bad beats" much more often than in games where you respawn, and as a result there are way more accusations of cheaters in BR games in general, despite the numbers actually being very low. Desync is pretty much a non issue now, performance is great, 4 different maps to play..it has taken them a long time, but it's finally there imo.

I'm looking forward to trying out BFV's version of BR, even if (at least initially) it doesnt seem to have a solo mode..at least it doesnt *seem* to have daft gimmicks like Fortnite/Apex. It remains to see how much fun it is, which is what really counts

I play it most nights and there's loads of weird things going on. In a fire fight your character can get stuck and not move because you're trying to run but guess what there's a curb in the way(doesn't happen all the time). Or you're driving and the car thinks its in tokyo drift or rolling for hitting a small rock. It feels like there's issues with inconsistent loot and bullet drop. It's these problems that make the game feel alpha tbh. The performance is better though.

The new firestorm update looks like it's going to be soo much fun. The trailer kinda felt like a nod to the bad company days.

How is apex gimmicky? I ask because I have enjoyed PUBG for a very long time and fortnite was an enjoyable experience, after player Apex I think that is much more fun than pubg and it really makes pubg feel like a alpha in comparison.

They are totally different games but PUBG is both a paid game and full of paid crates which is a poor cash grab, its systems are inconsistent and I still feel the game looks pretty naff considering the performance overall. Apex I have experienced none of the annoyances with PUBG and its faster pace so it is different in that regard but I appreciate the only skins part is paid but achieveable via ingame currency if you want.
