Re: QOTW: Which games consoles do you own?

Unlike a lot of people here, I have only ever owned one gaming console - some here have multiples and left me drooling. :-)
The only one I have ever owned is Pong - I have been a financially challenged disabled pensioner for several decades, and I must be miserly as my meager money has other priorities (even this PC I am using is a hand-me-down 4th gen i3 NUC).
I still have Pong somewhere in a box stored away (found it about 10 or 15 years ago when looking for something else)
For those out there who don't know Atari's Pong, it was one of the first gaming consoles (the arcade game came out in 1972 and a home version was released in 1975 but beaten to the market by the even more extremely basic Magnavox Odyssey with only 3 dots and no sound) and you played a game like Ping Pong (or table tennis) with bats, a moving "ball" and a central line for the net and basic sound - nothing fancy at all.
Amazingly very popular with over 10 million consoles sold.
We used to have all the neighbours join in tournaments and during school holidays, they sometimes ran for a week or so.

PS - just realised that I still had my old PC listed (just fixed it), it went missing with a pile of other things well over a year ago. I like to think that it morphed into a Deceptacon and walked out the door with the other missing things, but in the real world, we were more likely burgled. :-(

Even the recent DS models can be found on eBay for about a tenner. Second hand market is where all the nostalgic goodness is at!

    None.

The last games console I owned was an Atari 2600.

I have PCs and don't need anything else.

I have quite a few, ps2 "Japanese with original boot disk", Japanese Gamecube, american snes, snes mini, megadrive, sega saturn, xbox and xbox one x, n64, wii and a wii u. amstrad cpc6128. Some I gave away to family, but them came back after a while, otherwise it would not be quite so bad.

Only the Xbox 360 which I had until I started gaming on PC!

Had a Mega Drive at one point, but no idea what happened to that...

Thanks for taking the time to make a reasonable suggestion.
I know some gaming consoles like the DS can be bought at a low price, the problem is that I don't like the games for it - never been into Mario, etc, plus I am not into those little handheld consoles.
Fortunately, the old NUC can play old game titles (like Medal of Honor, etc) surprisingly well, so all is not too bad - so at the moment I am reliving a past era. :-)
I have started looking for used parts to put together another setup, but it is taking time.
Plus medical problems and hospital visits are not helping either.
This is my conundrum, if I buy a console (Xbox or PS), I know they cost a lot less than a desktop, but it will take me that much longer to put together a nice replacement desktop so I can do other things as well (example - I did some photo and video editing on the side to earn a bit of extra dolly). I just cannot afford both - this is why I was drooling at some people being lucky enough to be in a position where they can. :-)
I know I am being picky, but unfortunately, we like what we like and since I have a very limited budget, I am not going to throw away money buying something I will not use much. :-)
