    Is that Inno3d card really a single slot card with a double slot metal plate on it, or are my eyes deceiving me?

    Yeah I think you are right, though I have to say with what seems to be a crazy number of variants of these cards calling one "compact" when it is really just quite short seems a shame. Bus powered and single slot is a format I only have really old and Quadro cards for. The 1050ti had half height cards, not seen any of those yet either.
