How about the oems actually just making adequate cooling systems instead of going for the, "omgz it's 4mm thin!" crowd? Fan noise and having to keep the thing in a fridge has always meant that I've skipped or sold laptops on.

I guess you never heard of conformal coating... i have liquid metal on my acer halios 300 and it does improve the OC headroom and i used conformal coating to protect the surrounding area from shorts
