ooooh, one of my favourite mice! Used the original for years before switching to a Wireless Logitech.
I wonder if they have plans to revamp this old classic:

0.14 kgs... why is it so heavy? I thought the original was really light.
Not what I would call a "gaming" mouse!
I used to play in Quake 3 leagues with one of these intellimice:

All depends what you want to think of as a "gaming" mouse (MMO mouse, Moba mouse etc.)
and your point is?
You may call it a gaming mouse but I don't. Doesn't make either of us right just opinionated :)
What, you want stupidly unnecessary flashing lights and a bloated design to make it look like a spaceship, however just creating small cracks for dirt and dust to be able to collect into?
Very nice looking mouse. What I don't like it that the mouse only support USB 2.0 and has no back and forward buttons for web browsers. The pixart sensor is a nice feature though.
*Edit* The mouse does have 2 buttons on the side. Very hard to see.
....left and "rich" click...?
The Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 was *the* go-to gaming mouse at the beginning of the millennium. Had one and it was used extensively for CS (most of all).
There are two customizable buttons on the side and they used to default to back/forward on the original.
Still got two of the originals in my spares box - both work a bit but need me to get around to resoldering the connections of the cable to the board - every one that I knew of (mine, wife's, dad's) eventually developed an intermittent connection fault there. They did last at least 5 years before that happened but still an annoying weakness in an otherwise excellent design.
Damn this makes me wish I didn't get my new deathadder. The scroll wheel on it is atrocious. I loved the old version of this mouse, maybe because I grew up using it. Would love to see how this one feels, does sound a bit too heavy though...
My wireless mouse is 88grams. Why is the intelli mouse so heavy.
