Already on the plan that's best for me - none. :)
Re: Netflix UK pricing raised by as much as 20 per cent
Seems like the UK has had it pretty good with regard to Netflix pricing. Here in Denmark we've been paying DKK 79, DKK 99 and DKK 129 for the respective plans for some years. In GBP that's about 9.30, 11.70 and 15.25, respectively. And we may even get less content, although I'm not 100% sure this is still true.

I can't believe there are still people who pre-order games.

I never found enough content there to justify the bother of signing up. I signed up to Amazon Prime for other reasons, but it included access to Prime Video, and I found that their Video service would not have been worth the bother by itself.
Re: Netflix UK pricing raised by as much as 20 per cent
I have Netflix and Amazon Prime. I use Amazon a lot so the Prime service would be worth it without the video which is a bonus. The cost of Netflix is split between two of us so it's pretty low. Shame she insists on paying the licence fee but hey, she does use it.
Re: Netflix UK pricing raised by as much as 20 per cent
Netflix is still worth the money for me.

doesn't sound too bad to me. 20% of not much is still not much. Sensationalist headline IMO.
Re: Netflix UK pricing raised by as much as 20 per cent
Expect these prices to go higher as people "cord cut" more and pay for online streaming rather than traditional packages from the likes of BT/Sky/Virgin etc..

I tend to "post-order" games. (I wait till they're on Humble Bundle, GOG or a Steam sale)

It's not something I've done for a long time either - unless you count the most recent piece of DLC for Two Point Hospital (Pebberley Island) and/or the games that happened to be part of AMD Rewards due to buying my GPU.

There is only so much scope for price increases, the timing is probably wise as well if they want to invest in programming now, to counter the upcoming streaming services from Disney and Apple etc. Still, you also have to wonder how many streaming services people will be willing to sign up to.
I don't take much issue with paying slightly more for Netflix, I would take issue with paying for additional subscription services.
