Super happy with it
Gigabyte Z97X-UDH5.
Went from Meh to not happy.
Awful fan control options and Gigabyte has not released a single bios fix for Intel's security vulnerabilities.
MSI was able to release one for it's H81 series.
While it's aged a bit by now, if MSI can release one for an older and MUCH cheaper board, Gigabyte has no excuses.
A bunch of small issues that slowly pile up.
Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero. Not had a single issue with it.
Asrock Fatal1ty B450.
Asus Crosshair VI Hero. Depending on future prices of Asus and if they go higher. I will likely switch brands. I have my eye on MSi.
Gigabyte Z270-HD3P
Very happy with it!
MSI Z87-GD65 GAMING
I am happy with the motherboard and the only minor downside is the killer network card. It hasn't really caused any issues but feel it is mostly a gimmick so use the driver only package.
I would happily get another MSI motherboard again but would prefer a broadcom or an intel network card.
Asus Z390-E ans very happy with still another Asus product. I have been using their motherboards for years with great success. I had on problem board which they replaced with no hassle. I also have An Asus router which is as stable as it is powerful. They have great products which they continue to update drivers and bios for many years.
My 2nd pc is a Asus Z-87 Deluxe based unit and it is still as stable as ever.
Evga x99 ftw k
Gigabyte z77x-ud3. Still going strong after all these years.
Asus Rampage V Extreme with Intel 5960x, Still going strong.
Next will be an AMD 570 board from Asus, Probably a Strix or whatever high end they have to go with the 12 core 3900x
Z370 ASUS MAXIMUS X HERO. Paired nicely with my 8086K
Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Elite
Perfect over lockable non-sli board, with 2xNVME slots, for my i7 9700k.
Excellent board without a single issue.
Rampage IV Extreme and Rampage IV Gene with modded BIOS's for NVMe/M.2 support. Very happy with them, solid VRM's letting my 1660 V2 and 1680 V2 hold high OC's at 4.7 and 4.5GHz.
Desktop: Z370-G Strix
Home server: Maximus VII Gene (z97)
My current board which I've for the last 3 or 4yrs is the Gigabyte Z87X-D3H. I always thought this would be my last desktop machine but I'm currently toying with the idea of building a new machine based around the Intel i9 cpu.
