Game of the year 2020, no doubt in my mind.

I loved watching that announcement, people were more excited about just seeing Keanu than they were about anything else at E3.

I am the hype. I have watched the gameplay trailer 3 times and the new cinematic about 6

For anyone who hasn't watched it, the 40min behind the scenes gameplay vid from last years E3 is great.

snarls the Bill & Ted star
Presumably he was in the frame for this gig partly because of (or maybe that should be in spite of...) his role in Johnny Mnemonic (and the other little sci-fi film trilogy that he was in).
However your line is a lot funnier and I'd love to imagine that the developers were thinking that "the guy from Bill & Ted" was the ideal choice for the role.

Looks a bit like the Natural Vision gfx MOD that GTA 5 has.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 stars Keanu Reeves, releases 16th April 2020
This is one of the few games I'd actually consider paying full price for, based on the demo... the problem is that it would likely cost me more than the £50 for the software because the system requirements seem like they may be rather 'high' and would likely mean I need to replace my entire gaming pc so that's one expensive game for me lol

Well if you ever need a reason to upgrade your gaming PC, for playing a game you want to play is a great reason.

3 Games are my target for upgrade next year which are Star Citizen, Halo: Infinite and now Cyberpunk 2077.
I was a bit hesitant over the last trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 but this clinched it for me!

Well 'work' upgrades have to come first but if they just happen to 'match' the requirements for cyberpunk it's just a coincidence lol

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 stars Keanu Reeves, releases 16th April 2020
Keanu? Oh, he's such a decent fellow... Which is one more reason to be utterly disappointed by this game.
I saw a gameplay vid. It had that same kind of 'here's the bad guys behind the crates' x-ray vision that so many games feature now, along with cyber-hack weapon mods that make bullets go round corners and the like.
That's exactly the kind of cack that always turns me off the cyberpunk genre - When it's all about simply inventing a mod that does exactly what's needed to solve the situation... especially with no apparrent drawbacks.
Too cheesy and unbelievable for me. I'm out.

I find your lack of faith disturbing. You need a anti-anti-hype injection.

Mere placation with pretty-looking game environments are of no use to me if the gameplay isn't there.
Watchdogs was touted with the very same approach, but turned out to be utter cack... and since I have not yet hammered Chris Roberts this week - Star Citizen is another such visual spectacle of spectacular displeasure.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 stars Keanu Reeves, releases 16th April 2020
Star Citizen has always been a bit kak for me, and feel squadron 42 is going to be a flop when that comes out because of how long it has taken them to get to this point.
