    Support is said to be maintained but you can bet it'll be at a minimal level. I often get feature updates on my phone which are almost certainly as a result of development for newer models trickling down.

    The Android tablet market has been in decline for many years because of commoditization, premium tablets are dead as there is simply so much cheap stuff around.

    Google is only now belatedly recognizing reality.

    Chromebooks are completely separate and dominate large parts of the North American market.

    Google shouldn´t sell hardware, they have enough smartphones in the world to collect clients personal info))
