    I prefer to see khaki and coyote. Desert camouflage colours, y'see...

    Either way, it's still far too colourful and exciting for the average Hexite!!

    A little, but it's a pretty small fraction of the area lost.

    Rough ballpark estimate, ignoring the heatsink efficiency:
    That cooler has 52 full size fins and 6 more smaller fins, so I'll assume that by covering the top surface of the top fin you're losing 0.9% of the area (1/110th). The power dissipated is (assuming unity efficiency) directly proportional to the fin area and temperature differential, so with the area decreasing the temp must rise to compensate. That extra 9% temp delta, on a 60 C temp delta, means that you're looking at a temperature increase of half a degree (and the real-world number will be lower, as the top fin is less efficient than the lower fins)
