Heatsink covers?
Hell no. I want weird beige and weird brown-orange. If I paid for Noctua I want everyone to bloody well know it!

Rough ballpark estimate, ignoring the heatsink efficiency:
That cooler has 52 full size fins and 6 more smaller fins, so I'll assume that by covering the top surface of the top fin you're losing 0.9% of the area (1/110th). The power dissipated is (assuming unity efficiency) directly proportional to the fin area and temperature differential, so with the area decreasing the temp must rise to compensate. That extra 9% temp delta, on a 60 C temp delta, means that you're looking at a temperature increase of half a degree (and the real-world number will be lower, as the top fin is less efficient than the lower fins)
