I have the previous version and this new 10th gen seems to be a refresh rather than a new version. The screen illumination is not perfect but is not that bad. I had no problems with it. The same can be said for the colour temperature.
The only attractive feature of the mentioned is the faster panel.
The Kobo Aura One already has colour temperature, and most of the other features. I must admit, I'd like the page turn buttons, but not enough to buy into Amazon's proprietary format.
I considered the Oasis over my current Voyage (or Voyager, or whatever ths name is), and just couldn't justify the extra cost. And still can't.
