This is a great idea, starting out. There has been some talk on the Internet about 16 GHz support for the lower PCIe x16 slots, due to signal attenuation over longer traces. It would be a good future feature of this software to allow the user to test each x16 slot separately. Some users will also want to test "4x4" add-in cards with room for 4 x M.2 NVMe SSDs e.g. ASRock Ultra Quad M.2 card. I predict that the bottleneck at PCIe 4.0 will shift back to SSD controllers. In general, it's terrific to see hardware manufacturers recognizing the general significance of upstream bandwidth.
So for reference I ran the PCI Express test on my machine and got 11.39 GB/s
