Re: EVGA GeForce RTX Super series listed on Amazon.com
oh, and yes, ray tracing looks amazing! but still not many titles are using it, so, still happy with my 1060 at 1080p...... will wait till mid 2020 to fully enjoy ray tracing, the GPU market is a bit shady right now, i think any purchase would get smashed these days...
Re: EVGA GeForce RTX Super series listed on Amazon.com
I'm still on a Asus 970 strix oc and can play most games on max settings at 1080p. I still don't understand why gpu prices have shot up, I paid £270 for my 70 series card and now a 60 series is more expensive
Re: EVGA GeForce RTX Super series listed on Amazon.com
TBH nVidia are still too expensive, before RTX and bit coin £550 ish was more than enough for a top card anything more is profiteering and greed which I refuse to be a part of. I went 780, 980Ti, 1080Ti the next step I am not so sure about. Maybe AMD can cut it at a realistic price? Which would be nice with my shiney new Samsung 49" 5120x1440 ultrawide monitor....
Re: EVGA GeForce RTX Super series listed on Amazon.com
i have a GTX1080ti (MSI Gaming X) installed and I am happy to give ray tracing a wide berth, cannot see me upgrading any time soon
Re: EVGA GeForce RTX Super series listed on Amazon.com
Man o Man thats a lot of Canadian cash once converted. Pushing high 600's low 700s. Sad
Re: EVGA GeForce RTX Super series listed on Amazon.com
The whole nVidia SKU adjustment leaves a pretty bad taste. The new Superline is more aligned to the original product range of the 9xx series regarding the classification - that being said for people looking to purchase cards it's either second hand market, or support this.
As I'm one of those people, I'm glad to hear the 5700 changes as I would be reluctant to support nvidia further and the vega series didn't seem overly appealing.
The pricing is still all over the place, it's just both AMD and Nvidia are maintaining this methodology (for the most part)
