I'm really happy on behalf of AMD that they have high-profile people joining them for once, instead of having them leave (often to turn up at Intel).

Perhaps it's a sign of new times? One can only hope.

Maybe its just a sign that AMD have finally realised they cant carry on with their currently business model and need to try and claw back large amounts of the market share.
