Additionally a Custom SoftPowerPlay Table Registry-Mod (SPPT) was required.

    Wow, that is interesting.

Now, if that is what is possible with 40CUs with proper cooling, I can't imagine what is actually possible if they do release a 64CU model...

Why did you only do 1080p? 1080p is so 90s.

1080p is still the vast majority of the market.

Think you'll find 800x600 is 90s, or 640x480 toward the start of the decade.

I know, right? No Ray tracing is going to hamper a higher end model, but they were kind of coy about their plans for hardware RT, so it might be coming... At which point, damn, AMD beating Intel *and* NVidia at their own games...

Not sure why, but I am very interested to see how far these GPUs can be pushed.

Re: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT pushed beyond 2.2GHz with EKWB cooler

I think it's looking fantastic how far these cards can be overclocked. They seem to have a ton of headroom, just needing sufficient cooling. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the custom cards perform in August, as I imagine they'll have an overclock out of the box (and obviously better cooling). I'll probably grab me a Sapphire 5700 XT Nitro!
