£280 at this stage in its life cycle is ridiculous, it was overpriced at launch, doubly so now.

Supply and Demand. People have continued to be willing to pay that price, so they will retain that price; Just the way it goes.

The Switch is doing pretty well for itself. Instead of a price cut, they're releasing the Lite model. If people are buying it, then the current pricing seems to be doing just fine.
