The main idea is great especially for blind persons. But what for then is displayed the small letters text on the screen?

That is a superb implementation of a technology and kudos for doing it.
I still won't consider having one in the house, however.

Agreed, and it's why I won't use them .... but in this specific case, the benefits to the user might even justify that.
