Interesting that AMD have had to do a special sauce edition Gpu (10% more cores and a bit more MHz to be 15% faster) to stay ahead of an intel onboard graphics chip (and only just) not many people would of expected that one!

AMD need to get a hurry on and release zen 2 cores into mobile form factor and not give it a 4x number unless they skip 4x on the desktop

On the other hand you could just argue this shows how poor Intel igpu's have been up to now... Now AMD have competition they have been pushed into upping their game. Just like Intel are being pushed by AMD i the CPU space with Ryzen!
    Trust

The comparative benchmarks look weird to me; over 100% less performance? Are we having negative performance now?

On an Intel IGP I could actually believe that

Essentially, it's more proof that marketing people don't know how percentages really work.... they just pick the BIGGAR number, which is obviously and inherently BETTAR

Special sauce? It's just the standard chip with all the EUs enabled, same spec as the 3400G. The only trick here is enabling it withing the low power envelope.

Iris plus IGPs creeping ahead of AMD IGPs is nothing new:

Navi has me more excited than zen2 in APUs - I look forward to the 128 EU intel chips that'll compete with them!
