Hope it doesn't look like that because it's hideous, looks like a black market knock-off that has 1001 duped PS1 ROM-hacks on board.
They were playing demos on a devkit console. There's nothing to say that's what the retail console will look like.
The thing's not out for another 12 months; I wouldn't assume they've started final production or even finalised hardware yet. The APU and other essentials, sure, but detailing maybe not.
that reminds me of the Watergate Hotel for some diverse reason...

Previously devkits has always been bigger and clumsier looking than final product...
I hope the design won`t change too much, console should be effectivly as small as possible with practical design...
So, if the game will be like 100Gb, how much storage do you have to have?
1Tb will hold 9-11 games? Not enough.
So, do they plan to deliver standard configuration with at least 2Tb of storage?
The more you live, less you die. More you play, more you die. Isn't it great.
I still look at this leaked kit and I am feeling its not powerful at all, I mean by design choice that's all. Other Playstations had a bit of a thing going on where you can tell "it's packing some serious power", but here it looks like its weaker than a PS1.
Just because the discs are 100gb doesn't mean the early games will use all of that space. I am sure Sony have planned it to give headroom for later on.
The sensible thing would be to have an ssd for the OS and then an ssd for games / user data. I am Not sure if that would be feasible with the cost thou.
PS4 is the first Playstation I haven't owned.
