I had a Razr for years, now it lies beneath among the roots of a pear tree in my garden. Maybe someone in 1000yrs will dig it up and find it.... ;-) But £1168.30gdp for a mobile phone is way outta my league.

Still got an original that gets dug out and charged every year or so and used as an emergency phone by my small kid when we go on hols. Charge still lasts a week and the whole time my kid has it I feel jealous and want to be carrying it rather than my Galaxy S8+
I could see this thing catching on with the fashion crowd, myself ain't gonna pay £1200 on something you can drop/
Is it just me or is it wider than the original?
Not feeling it if that is the case, the original was a nice small phone, why can they not just put new guts in the old chassis rather than messing about trying to fit new stuff, into something old and then breaking what worked in the first place?
Still really liking the looks of this thing... and hoping for a Tricorder app!
I'd never afford one at that price, but give it a few years and it'll be £20 with my contract renewal or maybe £40 on eBay, which is where most of my phones originate.

Yeah, but this being an Android device, we can just simply ignore it and go buy something cheaper.
We've not bought into the whole Apple iEcosystem, so have not become tied (physically, emotionally or psychologically) to only ever purchasing Apple iProducts and singing their praises to the barbarian hordes like some brainwashed cult...

Not that I am in the market for a £1500 phone at any rate!
should this not have been left to die....
Given that I think £150 is too much for a phone, I have a hint of an idea that this just might not be aimed at me.

Original Nokia and now Motorola. A real heaven for nostalgics!
I remember when I had my first phone, all of my friends had Nokias, and played a lot of snake, I said to the guy in the phone shop, when he gave me my Siemens S6, what games does it have on it, he said, without missing a beat, if you want games, buy a f'ing Gameboy...
Can you imagine that conversation these days...
Yeah, times have chsnged. Problem (for me) is .... I haven't, reslly.
For me, a phone is primarily (and nearly exclusively) about, well, two things. Making phone calls. And receiving them. That's 95% of it. Maybe 4% is the occasional text message. And 1%? Probably checking BBC weather app (via wifi) and playing Sudoku. But the latter is usually with a cheap little book, and a pencil.
I put a £10 top-up in my current phone about two months ago. Usage? One text, 20p I think. I could do what I actually with my first ever mobile phone, which was in BT Ceklnet days ... an analog network. Or could if the network still existed.
I do love living on the edge.

I had a full LCARS UI for my old window mobile 6 phone - I remember cooking a special ROM for that purpose that basically ran HTC's TouchFLO wtih an LCARS skin, and a whole bunch of optimisations to make it work.
Was fun, but didn't work that well on a 4" Resistive touch screen
