Nothing
I was sooo tempted to finally get a 55in LGC9 OLED but the fact is I only really want a new TV for the PS5 & Xbox Two, this time next year. So, either the C9 will be even cheaper then (if still available) or its successor will already be on sale by Black Friday 2020.
I bought 3 games in the Steam Autumn Sale earlier in the week if that counts, but other than that, nothing.
I didn't really pay much attention this year as I'm more focused on having a Ryzen 3950X build in the near future.
Meh bugger all. Nearly grabbed a laptop for one of the kids but had already sold out.
I'm sure something else will turn up in the next 3 sales that are likely to happen before Xmas!
I remember when I was a kid and waking up to go to the Boxing Day sale when it actually meant something. It's all just monthly marketting these days.
my mum was considering getting this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Giant-Panda...RB/ref=sr_1_21 but its slightly too big to fit in the spare room.
did get 8TB elements, and a couple of books - Legends of the Alfar series, and latest book in Dwarves series.
Nothing
Panini press. No savings
A Ryzen 5 3600 for £153.
You have to jump through a few hoops and not already have a Very account.
1. Go to very.co.uk, add the Ryzen to your basket (£199.99 +£3 postage.)
2. At checkout take the option to set up a Very credit account (like a store card.)
3. When thats done enter code "PAQ96" and it gives you £50 credit on your first purchase as long as its over £100. This is then deducted from the price.
4. Pay off the credit account within 1 month to avoid interest at a riddiculous 39.9%. Optionally also close the account.
Been wanting to buy a well-specced Dell XPS 15 laptop for a while and thought I would wait until now to see if I could get one for a good price but was shocked to see the price jump up a couple of weeks ago and drop back down as a "Black Friday deal".
Feeling cheesed off about the practice so putting the purchase on hold until the new year Grrr!
Knowing my luck the price will go back up and stay there but somehow I doubt it..
8TB Hdd for around £110
Nothing, it's largely a psuedosale.
