PowerVR? Needs to be at the heart of a Dreamcast 2!

Interesting, Apple drops IMG and then all of a sudden they have a 2.5x increase in performance?

Were they doing an Intel and sitting on their laurels or something?

That implies that Intel have had a sudden 2.5x speed increase on their cores. If they managed more than about 2.5%, I missed that review, I thought they were just releasing factory overclocked parts and slashing prices

It was a bad example as I was only meaning the laurels side of things

Except in IMGs case, they bounced back very quickly but I don't feel quite right with the sudden 250% increase in performance. But then again they could have just had a breakthrough!

Apple's launch events nearly always have a slide showing a large GPU performance leap over the previous generation iPhone/iPad/iMac & Cheese.
