Honestly can't see any difference in that image, at all. If that offers a significant performance improvement then I'm truly impressed.

In this benchmark it gives massive performance increases, running a RTX 2080 I saw a 50%+ increase @ 1440p a 60%+ increase @ 4k and a massive 110% increase @ 8k (fps went from average mid 70's to around 120 @ 4k and from mid 20's up to mid 40's @ 8k)
