Imagination were one of the first companies to demonstrate GPU accelerated ray-tracing... maybe that's something Apple want to harness as next-gen consoles are likely to bring ray-traced gaming visuals to the masses and change expectations forever.
You could say that, however just throwing money at something doesn't make it a successful project and I can't imagine (BOOM) that "Mobile Gamers" are going to be bothered about a vision technology that is only at the start of it's life with (as far as i'm aware) no product in the mobile space with such a feature.Quote:

When I phone X hit us at £1k or more I was in utter disbelief.
