I have a load of their free games, some of them have been on my steam wishlist for a while. Still haven't installed a single one.
I've installed all the free ones I accepted.
Played about half so far, but dilligently not started a new one until I've completed the one I was on.
But then, I'm morally fine supporting a nasty, evil company that gives away free games, limits the time on their exclusives and gives more money to Devs, so it's all good.
Really looking forward to playing Detroit: Become Human, though... Had a quick play on the demo and immediately had to replay three or four times!!

I too am happy to support this evil company, some great free games so far and some great purchases I really liked heavy rain which I got on their evil pre order discounts.
I also got beyond 2 souls I am yet to play and have avoided the detroit demo as I am not in a position to play it yet.
Epic is now my most opened launcher out of the 5 installed, keep up the good work and you will break the current monopoly in no time.
Good for them. I got a reason to keep logging in once in a while. Meanwhile Amazon Prime has been giving games for free monthly for years... with no fanfare. Same as humble bundle and GOG at times as well. In fact, the game I'm having fun playing currently, I got free from Humble - Dirt 3 Complete edition.
Also can we stop with beating a dead horse once and for all? Every time "Epic" gets brought up in a thread, the lovers and haters of Epic come out of the woodwork. Please just leave it be. You're just repeating the same thing over and over again. And it's pointless as all it does is derails the thread each and every time.

Only game I've really played from Epic so far has actually been Journey, which they had an exclusive on and which I actually paid ~3.8 GBP for (they had a general sale coupon last May). Wish I'd been able to log in during the holiday giveaway daily, though. Still have a coupon good through May, which I'll probably use on Outer Worlds or something if it goes on deep sale by then.
BTW, did anyone else notice how Steam didn't used to have the ability to mark its recommendations as owned elsewhere, back when it was 'only' Origin, Ubisoft, GOG, Itch.io, Twitch, Telltale and so forth with their own stores? And now they do?
I've redeemed almost all the games that's been offered on Epic Game Store; I've yet to play a single game from it.

OK, so a bunch of ranty anti-Epic kids on the internet are ranting about Epic.... What's to learn?
I'm sure if I scroll through Reddit, the font of all truth, I'll find a thread or two in which all the claims made in what you linked is constructively examined and impartially debunked. Think such a thing has already been posted around here somewhere...
Have you got something a bit less biassed and more objective, maybe an independent investigation? Maybe even something more sunstantial than just what someone on the internet thinks? Ideally, something that doesn't look and read like a 7-year-old's secret scrapbook?

We don't have to be mean because, remember... no matter where you go, there you are.
Seriously though, he was only asking... quite nicely too, as he even said please!
You don't have to grant or abide by that request, but you should respect it.... which I say knowing full well that I have, in the very same sentence, quite disrespectfully assumed Scryder is male, and that his/her wife and children are a result of a majority coupling, or whatever the modern term is these days... err... yeah.... has the thread fully derailed yet, or shall I go on? It is a Friday, you know!

I pay for Prime for other reasons, mainly because I HAVE to order things from them for years. So Twitch Prime and Prime Video (in my option) are "free", as that's NOT the reason I signed up to and use Amazon Prime. But I will concede that point to you, if you're not subscribed, it ain't free.
However my following sentence is still valid, about GOG and Humble Bundle...

Also, I don't hate Epic, I just downloaded Horace for free. But what I said was every thread regarding Epic Games does not need to go down the same route... that's just boring and repetitive IMO!
BUT I ain't the forum police, so carry on!
