    "Users"

Maybe its a sign of them planning to get rid of Wordpad?
Personally I cant remember the last time I used it so no loss to me, I either use Notepad or Word..

Well, let's just hope that they get forced to offer Open Office as well.

Wordpad's only use was a native Windows text editor that could handle \n line endings.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that they were at the very least removing wordpad from the standard install and you'd need to get it from the microsoft store in future...

Re: Microsoft spotted testing adverts embedded in WordPad

Just another massive headache for SysAdmins. Now have to close off these ads so they don't open webpages or store links. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.
