That footage really needs to be seen without YouTube compression, it's artifacting like crazy.
That's not YouTube that's the phone :/
That youtube video at 1080p (won't even play the others) doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, either the downscaling/compression is really bad or the original source is bad.
Usually YouTube detects high-quality footage and then allows high-quality streams (e.g. 4K and less agressive compression) - however, looks like YouTube's AI went a bit off the rails here.Quote:

The only aspect of video footage on youtube you can rely on are the brightness of the footage, anything else youtube ruin.
So if you want to judge the performance of any camera you need to DL raw footage from somewhere.
PS. This look horrible on my 1080 screen, no matter what resolution from 1080 and up i try, and yes the 8k run fine here too just do not look good.
I guess the mobile phone companies need to launch 8k camera's asap to help the mobile networks sell even more bandwidth that no one needs.

I have 30 GB/mo, and i use 3 at the max, i could drop to a cheaper subscription with less data, and talk too which i use just as little.
BUT ! price wise its not really worth it.
