Can't argue with free, and I don't mind an hour session limit at all. Remains to be seen how it works on crappy adsl though...

I've been using it for over a year now - usually when travelling - and it works really well. Even on awful hotel wifi you can usually get a game going...although FPS games do need a good internet connection in my experience.

It's like Stadia but it works, there is no need to buy overpriced bespoke hardware, and you can use your existing steam library so no need t buy specially modified games.

Nice to see this service finally leaving beta.

Wasnt there a in home streaming option from your PC to another device using you nvidia gfx card? Is that still a thing? Now that I have a green team card that would interest me more.

Re: Nvidia GeForce NOW cloud gaming service launches

Tried it out (Founder tier; 90-day trial), and it's pretty good, though the default "Balanced" setting was significantly lower-than-native res. Tweaking it to stream at just below my Internet bandwidth (30 Mbps), I got 1200p visuals and only occasional latency. Perfectly serviceable for a game of Rocket League, even if my local RX 480 is smoother. I could definitely see using it on a laptop while traveling.

    Thanks! Confirmed.

I stupidly got nudged away from the Nvidia Games App when I saw the message that the beta had (finally) ended.

Used since beta, works well, doubt I'd pay for it, 1 hour free is probs enough when out and about at times..........
