    AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS appears in Time Spy CPU benchmarks

    This APU scores 8,730 points, beating the the 4800H (8,350) and Intel Core i7-9700K (8,200).

    Not gonna lie, that is some nutty laptop part. So why is this not available on a desktop platform for compact pc users?

    Thats pretty neat, wish i was able to afford a laptop like that so i don't have to boot this monster of a PC, cuz i assume this monster idling use as much power as that laptop going full tilt.

    Have to agree. Got a friend who's eagerly awaiting "Renoir" for the desktop. Why haven't we heard anything about that?

    Beats the i7-9700k which is a 95 watt part (and indeed uses more if you want)
    Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!

    My 12/24 C threadripper with 5700XT only manage to do 9200 in time spy, so that's pretty impressive laptop performance in my book.

    I could build a nice little development workstation in an Asrock A300 DeskMini with a beast like that. The 3400G is just a tad underpowered for my work use (though not bad).

    B550 & Renoir m-ITX build for me later this year then by the sounds of it... with a custom case too
