Sony something or other. Xpedia ?? I think.

It was carefully chosen by a thorough process of evaluating features ... then gratefully accepting a model a friend gave me as he had upgraded.

How do I find it? Hard to say, as I barely use it. I guess I just don't really need it. It's more just havjng it with me for emergecies.

Re: QOTW: Which mobile phone do you use?

    Mi9

Which is okay hardware ASO, but really not something i can recommend for the way they have screwed up android with their MIUI.

I am personally only able to accept it as i only use the damn thing 5 minutes or so daily, if i had been a phone addict like most others i would have done the fadango on the phone and called my self names while doing it,,,,, and then gotten a new phone.
Hopefully this will be my last phone, it is not for my sake i carry it, i have and can easy live without a phone in my pocket.

Alcatel 3 (2018). £90 from Argos 10 months ago. 6" screen, so I can see it! Too much GoogleCr@p of course.

I am still rocking a Pixel 2 XL, it's one of the best phones I've ever had (Approaching 3 years now). Unfortunately, I dropped it a few times recently and the screen is really damaged now. I will most likely upgrade soon, let's see how much have phones improved since Pixel 2.

    Redmi Go

Our village only has intermittent text level mobile signal and I must have something for verification codes.

I'm thinking about a Samsung S10, as the cheapest I can find with WiFi Calling. It really annoys me that WiFi Calling is not a listed mobile feature.

Re: QOTW: Which mobile phone do you use?

Wileyfox Swift, Wileyfox Swift 2+, Moto G7

The original Swift running Cyanogen was a great phone apart from a slightly iffy power button. I keep it in the car with a PAYG SIM as an emergency spare.

The Swift 2+ was even better (and it still had all the extra privacy control options from Cyanogen even after updating to Android 7) but after it updated to Android 8.1 it suffered from battery drain. Fully charged, left on a desk with wifi, data, and screen off, the battery would discharge itself fully over about 7-8 hours. Up until I moved it to Android 8 I loved it abd the only reason I didn't revert back to 7 was because I couldn't find a way of doing it without losing my history & chats in some apps. Also, Wileyfox went under and while they were bought out by Santok, who promised to provide support, there has been no customer service whatsoever, just endless e-mails trying to sell the rest of the phones they have in stock.

I've had the G7 since August last year. It's a nice phone, although about as big as I could cope with. Battery life and performance are good. The only things I really miss are the better privacy controls, some customization options, and the notification LED from the Swifts

Re: QOTW: Which mobile phone do you use?

I'll also add that I've never paid more than £200 for a phone, and apart from price changes due to inflation I don't think I ever will. I've borrowed a couple of £500+ phones from friends and they don't provide anything that justifies the extra cost IMO.

Re: QOTW: Which mobile phone do you use?

Motorolla X4 = will likely keep it for awhile yet since it has android 9. Next phone will be the one that guarantees most android updates ... or at least that will be a major point to consider.
Phones are way too expensive so mid range is fine with me. I like the size of my current phone and have no use for anything bigger or fancier.

Re: QOTW: Which mobile phone do you use?

    Huawei Mate 20 x.

It's never crashed, never restarts, the battery is great and I have zero issues. Did have the P30 pro, but couldn't stand the curved screen that didn't really fit well with a curved screen protector.

Would love a mate 30 but I refuse to spend over £600 for a damn phone. Simply not worth it (to me. Plus I don't use any Google apps).

Re: QOTW: Which mobile phone do you use?

s10+, on the whole, it's been really good taking great pictures/video whilst still being quick after 12 months. Battery life is OK I do miss the fast charging of the OP.
Upgrade wise I took advantage of the Samsung upgrade program and gone for the s20 Ultra in Grey.

Anything not iPhone as they break to easy and I dont want to pay more for the items than what it is worth, currently running on an old Samsung Galaxy S3, probably going to replace it this year with a new model...

Re: QOTW: Which mobile phone do you use?

S8 duos after I 'launched' my trustworthy S5 to a stone floor last summer (note to self don't wrap your phone in a beach towel on returning from the beach then proceed to shake it with phone still wrapped up). S5 was almost perfect, just could have done with more RAM. S8 was the OHs previous phone, which pretty much from the go had issues charging and after a few months screen burn.

Samsung S10+ (128GB Edition) - Almost had 12 months and has done me well. Not upgrading as I do not agree with the £100 prize hike with the new matching model S20+. Will get the next one in a years time I'm thinking when this one's paid off!

Nokia 7.2, forced to due to EoL for my Lumia 950 XL.

I like it, it works, it doesnt do stupid stuff, it has the right price point for a decent phone.

    It isnt the 950XL
