I presume the bar over the top also functions as a carry handle..... no...?
Why do so many makers of big, heavy cases never think to put handles on 'em?
Awesome case, good idea re the handle (Ttaskmaster)
It's not so much designed for hardcore gamers as for people with lots of money who like to think of themselves as hardcore.
Marketing is truly a stain on our planet :(
@Tasky IRRC Bitfenix stuck a handle on the survivor and prodigy cases. Silverstone had a handle on the raven and fortress 2 cases. There have been cases with handles. Problem is it adds to the depth, or else eats into the internal spaces. I prefer not having one for both reasons as the number of times I move it around is limited. More interested in airflow and ease of fitting under my desk.
Yes, and Coolermaster have done a couple... such as the Scout, Cosmos and Trooper... one of which I almost ended up buying, before I realised I was no longer 12!
But on cases like this that have twice the number of components (give or take) and are watercooled - Well, I struggle to heft my own single system around, so this would likely break my aging spine.
Corsair did well enough with the C70 case handles, though, and that's a small-mid size case so it's clearly not that big a deal. Heck, there are enough plastic bits around most cases that there's plenty of room for hiding secure grip points and handholds. I could think of a good half-dozen ways to easily implement handles without impacting on the internals or outer dimensions!
Besides, one should be dusting the PC out roughly once a month, which you surely do outside, no? :)
That requires carrying.
No air-dust filters? Nope.
My case has intake filters. Every now and then I vacuum them, give them a blast with the air duster and pop then back in for another round. No carrying required. Inside has only needed cleaning once in a blue moon. It really does stay clean. The last deep clean was when I swapped the processor in 2018
I prefer not to stress my fans or waste the static pressure by forcing that airflow through filters, so I have open airflow. My case has removable 'filters' as standard, although they're more like simple screens than anything really effective.
But then, I also change my fluid and rebuild the blocks on a regular basis, too...
