plenty of in-game purchases from the Buy Stations, where players can gain Killstreaks, Redeploy Tokens to bring back fallen teammates, Self-Revive Kits

In fact remembering just how bad their "anti cheats" software is for COD-2, COD-3 .. as in non-existent I think I'll give this a wide berth anyway... I decided a long time ago that Activision lost my custom because of this,, and I'm not rewarding their pockets any further.

I just finished the tutorial and that buy station is a point on the map where you can use cash you gathered in that round to buy kits or those other things...
You dont use real cash or something you grind over several matches, only what you found during that round, from my understanding
Left my machine downloading this via BattleNet this morning, it might have about finished by the time i get home...
It don't matter if it is real money or grind money, the main thing that turn me off is players have different LvL weapons and armor and what not.
Okay the server will probably assign you according to that so LvL 10 weapons people don't play VS LvL 1 weapon guys.
But i still find this BS i just want to play against any person with any LvL of skill in the game, BUT ! with the same weapons.
Personally i am not crazy about games where you select one kind of weapon loadout and skill at the start of the game, i prefer the old way where you just spawn with nothing or a simple loadout and then find weapons spread over the map, and then you go to them and use them as best you can.
All these buy things in games, that's IMO just social media in games to keep you hooked if the game itself are not all that.
I just want a simple game, you start- go to multiplayer - choose a character and a name, and then join the kind of server you like to play on ( CTF or TDM in my case )
The only not simple thing i would like in modern games, and something which are apparently impossible to do, is i would like to play random generated maps, not the same 5 or so maps over and over.
And i want to be able to play that game with a 4-5 button mouse, and MAX 10 keyboard buttons less is preferred.
and i want a box in the multiplayer settings i can tag to always run ( and not run out of stamina ) and then maybe if you run and jump you go a little faster.

I was one of those, In my two hour play through I was pleasantly surprised with how decent it is. I wish it was 4 player, though it's engaging and the scale of the map was very interesting.

Then I was quite correct then ? Activision didn't even bother with developing/coding any sort of AntiCheat.
I always felt the games leaving AT to something like punkbuster was a flip off to the buyers /players of that game.
NOT cuz i once got a PB ban myself, apparently for just mentioning a popular cheat in the game i was playing at the time.

Planetside 2 has battles where at one point you can have 300 players,and that is not the whole map!!
This is actually quite good and has some excellent ideas, like the gulag. I'd encourage people to check it out despite the large initial download.
