But yeah seem stupid, and most of the many people not having cellular coverage, well it is not due to technical limitations, it is other issues in those societies that prevent them from getting that far.
And to me it seem a tad overlord like to come and "force" our satellite stuff down over them.
Those people should be supported in getting where they want to go them self, it will be far more beneficial for those countries than we just "giving" them the solution.
O and i forgot to write.
Being off line, are actually not that bad, you can even go to offline resorts now to fully relax.
And sooner or later this information / online fab will blow over and it will be recognized as the decease it is.
So you get hurt, and sadly for you in a place where you can not call for help, well that is just sad, but rest assured there will be 1375 people ready to take your place.
And you being able to post on facetwitt any place any time, well that do not constitute a real need in a sane world, and any amount of money used to make that a option are wasted in a sane world.
Astronomers are not going to be happy about that, they're already flipping out over SpaceX's Starlink.
The number of satellites you can see is silly as it is. Now Musk has started sending loads up and everyone else is trying to compete, it'll be insane.
That being said, Musk has said that they're listening and every payload of satellites will have a smaller and smaller signature. Still going to be an utter pig if you're tracking a deep space object for a long exposure and a few either bright or dark spots decide to get in the way. Software can remove it to an extent but how far is this going to go?
Hehe yeah and you cant put you telescope up in space, cuz you risk hitting junk when you get up there.

Perhaps it is only ironic we trap our self on this orb with our own junk circling above us.
More importantly, hauling 30+ metre mirror telescopes up into orbit isn't particularly practical. Look how long the James Webb telescope is taking to test, align and package for launch, and it's only 6.5m across.Quote:

I could be convinced that there might be too much stuff man-made stuff in the sky, but not really swayed by those arguments.
I i am totally relaxed, not least now that i don't have a TV any more.
This virus stuff going around, stand a good chance of taking my old sick mother, and i would not mind it one bit, her life ended 10 years ago.
If my little sister got hurt in one of the very small phone coverage black spots in Denmark and died as she could not call for help, well depending on what hurt her i would be good with that too, very unfortunate and i will miss her.
Of course if she died at the hand of another person, then i would be outraged and i would probably be stupid enough to take the law in my own hand as i have seen the criminal and justice system fail here.
But that's a whole other matter than phone / internet coverage.
O and if the bug going around take me too, well i am good with that too, i pretty much had my go at life and there sure as hell are not any " O yeah" moments left for me, unless i will the lottery or something.
But just life as a retired Dane,,,,,, well if it is cut short, so be it.
PS: my phone pretty much always have ringtone and vibrator off, and also notifications, i often read the news headlines on it which give me a average screen time daily of 5 minutes as most times i don't dare to read the actual articles, for fear of getting my good mood ruined.
My so called digital well being are thru the roof, so i don't personally need to go to any offline resort, but i do get plenty of online here at my PC,,, probably too much too.
Last TXT was 3 days ago, last phone call was 6 days ago, number of social media apps on my phone = 0...... i am not a phone junkie.
Actually i have uninstalled more factory apps on my phone than i have installed, and i would uninstall more if it was easy to do, sadly i am not as brave or geeky informed in regard to "hacking" into phones, so i make do.
