I bought a Netbook way back in 2005-ish. Runs XP. 10" screen, nothing special, could just about run Freelancer but struggled with Tomb Raider: Legend.
But it was my computer for a good while, very small and handy, very easily portable especially on a motorcycle. I kept it, mainly for nostalgia...
The other week I had to complete gut my 'office' so the electrician could get under the floors to rewire part of the house. This meant no PC and no access to any of my files and 'stuff'... But I
was still able to fire up that Netbook and watch The Witcher, without resorting to squinting at a smartphone screen!
If you want one, get one. You never know when you'll have the need.
I'm currently mucking about, seeing if I can get Win10 or some kind of Linux/Ubuntu thing to run on it!
