I usually do work from home, but we have some new starters at the office so that's unfortunate timing.

As a software developer I've been working from home for the past 30 years![]()
Yes and yes.
Nope - I work in retail with a small team so if we lose just 2 members of staff It would affect us, 3 and we would have to close. Two members of staff have children so if the schools happen to close they would not be available to work every day.
Well, I can work from home, and I have a work laptop that allows me to work remotely, my company insists on having us all come to work, regardless. Literally, the only reason we can't be at the office is if we are at death's door, or we can provide a doctors note to prove we can't come to work.
It's a bit ridiculous as most of our clients have been ordered to work from home already, but at least the office is a bit quieter now...
If the Earth is a sphere how do you travel to the ends of it?
I could do 99.9% of my work from home, but it'll never happen as it would require my employer to trust me and treat me like an adult.
I work in IT and we do on-calls, so we already had the means and resources in place, and use them frequently.
Our company sent almost half of the workforce to work from home 2 weeks ago, and until further notice.
I was the one doing the rota for my team so I am working from the office every day u_u
Yes, although my wife has now been told to WFH for the next few months, so there'll be fights over the one computer desk we have.
I'll be working in the kitchen.
Yes, software engineer.
Yes. Office is now effectively shut for a month. Already did it occasionally. Going to be odd stuck at home for quite so long though...
I work in the NHS so I guess you'll know the answer!

The company I work for is a bit old fashioned though, and they like to see people in the office, so I imagine it will only be when there's a government directive that that will say do it until further notice.
It's a bit annoying, as honestly I work better from home, I have bigger screens at home and it's quieter too, so I get more work done than I do in the office.
I can and will from wednesday
No, I am a carpenter in construction and all my work is on site where ever that may be.
No, not really, I can do the admin at home, but only if I have the paperwork from the workshop. The other part of my job involves actually fixing HGV's, and there's not enough room on my drive let alone in my garage for one of those. The wife works at a hospital, so that's a no as well.
